See below attached final 2025 Vulnerability Assessment and 2026 Adaptation Plan
SCOPE OF WORK
The City was awarded grant funding to complete a city-wide vulnerability assessment, pursuant to Section 380.093, Florida Statutes, through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Resilient Florida Grant Program. The primary goals of the assessment are to identify critical City assets that are vulnerable to flooding under existing and projected future conditions and begin identifying adaptation projects/strategies that the City could implement to protect its critical assets.
CURRENT PROJECT PHASE: Project Close-Out
The Final Vulnerability Report, Maps, and Tables final VA included all the results from the exposure and sensitivity analyses, as well as a summary of identified risks. The report also contains a list of critical and regionally significant assets that are impacted by flooding and sea-level rise, specifying for each asset the flood scenario(s) impacting the asset. Included with the report is geospatial data in an electronic file format and GIS metadata.
- A presentation of the Vulnerability Assessment findings was given at the June 2, 2025 Commission meeting. Click here to rewatch. A copy of the presentation is available below in a .pdf format.
