11th Street Drainage & Roadway Rehabilitation

SCOPE OF WORK:
11th Street between 112 and 213 is in need of stormwater pipe repair and in some areas and the condition of the pipe(s) may also be affecting the road. The stormwater pipes will first be cleaned and then videoed in order to properly assess how to move forward with repairs.
Cleaning, videoing, and lining the pipe were completed in (FY) 2024. Roadway design and construction in will be completed in FY 2025. This project will also include resurfacing the 11th Street Public Parking lot.
CURRENT PROJECT PHASE: Completed.
Via a piggyback contract with St. Johns County, Kudzue3 has been chosen to pave the eastbound lane of 11th Street from the St. Johns County maintenance line to CR A1A Beach Blvd. Substantial completion is tentatively expected by summer 2025.
Tentative Schedule:
05/19: 11th Street Parking Lot COMPLETED (05/23) ✔️
06/09 - 06/10: 11th Street mill and repave. COMPLETED (06/16) ✔️
06/11: Restoration & Cleanup. COMPLETED (06/27) ✔️
06/30: Final Striping COMPLETED (07/03) ✔️
