The City of St. Augustine Beach is seeking applicants for the position of City Engineer.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university and six years of municipal engineering experience, including two years of supervisory experience, is required. Must be registered as an active Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.
Duties include coordinating with developers, engineers, architects, surveyors, and other professionals to assist with new development or redevelopment, preparation of preliminary and final plans, specifications and cost estimates, management of the City’s stormwater and NPDES program, management of City consultants, and management of City grants and projects as assigned. Pay range is $96,324 to $156,000, negotiable based on experience. Medical insurance included with options for dental & vision, FRS retirement plan, life insurance, paid holidays, and paid vacation/sick time.
