Transportation
St. Johns County Recreation does not provide transportation for any of their programs. Depending on the program, kids need to be taken to:
Solomon Calhoun Community Center (1300 Duval Street, St. Augustine – 5.2 miles from city hall)
Joe Pomar Park (1600 Masters Drive, St. Augustine – 6.5 miles from city hall)
Ketterlinus Gym (60 Orange Street, St. Augustine – 5.6 miles from city hall)
YMCA (500 Pope Road, SAB – 1 mile from city hall)
Pier Park (350 A1A Beach Blvd, SAB – 1.1 mile from city hall)
St. Johns Golf and Country Club (205 St Johns Golf Drive, St. Johns – 27.5 miles from city hall)
The Golf Club at South Hampton (315 S Hampton Club Way, St. Johns – 29.8 miles from city hall)
Trout Creek on the St. Johns River (6795 Collier Rd. off SR 13/16 – 22.1 miles from city hall)
St. Johns, Duval, Nassau, Clay, Putnam, and Flagler County Schools (up to 90 miles from city hall)
Fee Assistance for Youth Programs
The County discounts the rates of these programs based on a child’s eligibility for free or reduced cost lunch through the SJC School Board. You can see the income eligibility chart on the following pages and on the county’s website here: http://www.stjohns.k12.fl.us/press/2013/07/31/free-and-reduced-lunch/. This is gross income before taxes and other deductions.
For an example of the discount for youth programs, summer camp rates for this year are as follows:
Camp Rate: $410 per child; $59 per week.
Reduced Rate: $305 per child; $44 per week (must qualify). *See Note
Free Rate: $205 per child; $30 per week (must qualify). * See Note

To receive the reduced rate, you must qualify for Reduced Lunch with the St. Johns County School Board; you will be required to submit your paper work with your registration forms to receive the discounted rate per child.
