PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
The City of St. Augustine Beach Public Works Deparment is located at 2055 Mizell Road, St. Augustine, Florida.
Public Works provides the following four (4) primary services to City residents and businesses:
Facilities Maintenance
- Cleaning, repair and maintenance of City’s buildings and other facilities, including public restrooms and parking lots
- Maintenance of landscaping and irrigation for City Hall Complex and other City facilities
Solid Waste and Recycling
- Collection and disposal of solid waste from residences and some businesses within the City
- Collection and disposal of solid waste from city buildings and facilities
- Collection and disposal of recyclables (through Advanced Disposal) from residences and some businesses within the City.
Parks & Recreation
- Improve and maintain City parks, including:
- Splash Park
- Lakeside Park
- Ocean Hammock Park
- City Parkettes
Roads & Drainage
- Repair and maintain City streets
- Maintain landscaping in City rights-of-way and medians
- Operate, maintain and improve City’s storm water drainage system
- Ensure that pet waste dispensers are clean and well stocked
