Ocean Hammock Park Phase II Completion Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
September 21, 2023 - St. Augustine Beach, FL. - Phase II of the Ocean Hammock Park project is complete and includes the following:
- ADA accessible public restrooms
- An ADA accessible parking pad
- Outdoor shower and foot wash
- Water fountain and bottle filling station
- Educational kiosk
- ADA accessible nature trail with interpretive signs
- Two Picnic areas with tables
- Two bike racks
- ADA accessible sidewalk that connects to the existing Ocean Hammock Park boardwalk
Mayor Don Samora commented “The City of St Augustine Beach is incredibly fortunate to have this 16-acre oceanfront park. I’m excited to see the completion of Phase II, as it will improve the experience of everyone that visits Ocean Hammock Park.”
The city will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, October 4 at 4:00PM.
The park is located at 950 A1A Beach Blvd., St. Augustine Beach, 32080. The public is invited to attend, please note that parking is limited. During the event, the city will give away a limited number of refillable bottles.
