The City of St. Augustine Beach is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms interested in furnishing professional engineering services for the analysis, design, permitting and construction engineering for C.R. A1A / Pope Road Drainage Improvements. The City intends to select one firm with demonstrated expertise in providing similar services to those requested in the RFQ.
The purpose of this Scope of Work is to improve flood protection in St. Augustine Beach. The project involves providing drainage improvements in the vicinity of C.R. A1A (aka A1A Beach Boulevard) and Pope Road, to prevent storm surge related tidal inundation from Salt Run.
The project is funded in part through by FEMA through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
