With our city growing by leaps and bounds, our
number of school age children is growing as well. During the school year our
children are most vulnerable while walking to and from the bus stop. Most bus
stops have a parent or two keeping an eye out before the bus picks up the
children. |

As an added peace of mind, we have an officer monitor the bus
stops before and after school. This helps in two ways, one - the officer's
presence deters possible predators that may prey on our children and two - the
high profile patrolling reduces hazards such as speeders and improper passing
of school buses.
