PROBLEMS AND COMPLAINTS

Residents with a complaint or problem may wonder which department or agency to call. Some common problems are listed below with the appropriate department to contact. Telephone numbers and e-mail information for the departments is available on the Contacts and Information page.

St. Augustine Beach Police Department

• Noise and/.or barking dogs

• Unlicensed vehicles parked on streets or public property

• Garage sales without permit

• RV's on public or private property

• Door-to-door solicitation without permit and badge (does not apply to religious or political groups)

St. Augustine Beach Building Department

• Construction or tree removal without permit

• Unlicensed vehicles parked on private property

• Business being conducted in a residential district

• Overgrown yards on developed property

• Litter/trash on private property

• Trash containers left on street

• Dead or diseased trees on private property

City Manager's Office

• Non-functioning streetlights

• Non-functioning traffic signals (on weekends or holidays, call the Police Dept.)

• Trash on streets

• Dead or diseased trees on public property

• Missing street signs, stops signs, etc.

• Potholes on City streets

• Questions regarding occupational licenses or dog licenses.

• Information on any complaint or problem not listed  on this page

Other Agencies

Humane Society:        Loose, sick or vicious dogs.   Call 829-2737.

County Parks and

Recreation Dept.:      Debris on beach.    Call 471-6616

Noah's Ark:                Sick, injured or abandoned animals, birds or wildlife.
