Well known for its beautiful beach, our City is also rich in
history and culture. Cultural events and a variety of weekly
events at Pier Park that include weekly community concerts by
the Civic Association and farmers market to a host of enjoyable weekend events . Pier Park includes “Splash Park” which is enjoyed by the young and young at heart with the dancing waters to cool off on a hot summer day and the Park’s fishing Pier is popular with anglers. New Years Eve’s annual Beach Blast off at the Pier features an afternoon chili cook-off and spectacular evening fireworks display.
