Hurricane re-entry passes are available at the St. Augustine Beach Police Department (SABPD). You must have proof of residency with you to receive a pass.
There has been some confusion as to when a re-entry pass should be disposed of. Re-Entry passes do not expire with the season, your hurricane re-entry pass can be reused from season to season, and should be kept as long as you reside on Anastasia Island.
During times of impending danger from Tropical Storm damage, hurricane re-entry passes are generally at a premium. Although we do not charge for these passes, at certain times we can run out and it may become very difficult to obtain one. The hurricane re-entry pass should be obtained early, and kept in a safe place until needed.
