Detective Division
The Detective Division's primary responsibility is to respond to major crime
scenes and to conduct follow-up investigations once the uniformed officer has
conducted a preliminary investigation of a crime. The detective assigned to a
case will develop and follow "leads" before the case is submitted to the State
Attorney's Office for Disposition.
